What a record
This year we've been treated to some wonderful individual performances; Jordan Spieth's Major quest springs to mind, before Jason Day took over and put on one or two exhibitions himself. However, the women's game has a superstar of its own and her victory at the Taiwan Championship on Sunday is arguably the story on the season.
New Zealand's Lydia Ko hit a final-round seven-under 65 to win by nine shots and reclaim the number one spot. It was the 18-year-old's fourth round of under 70 as she became the youngest player to earn 10 wins on the LPGA Tour. Now that's impressive.

Club Bowmaker
A wet day greeted competitors for last Saturday's Bowmaker competition. The format was two scores counting on every hole and all four to count on the eighth hole. Top of the pile was the Chairman's team consisting of David Fife, Derek Sutton, David Steele and Brian Cherry, they amassed a very impressive 94 points. The second place team consisting of John Vickerstaff, John French, Dan Hayward and James French had 92 points and Ian Wylie, Richard Hickling, Peter Evans and James Barclay came in third with 91 points.
Adult/Junior Open and Bamford Cup
Fine weather greeted entrants of this year's Adult/Junior Open. Danielle and Sam Williams ran out of victors in the overall competition with 40 points. They pipped home pairing of Joe Swift and Callum Walker on the back six holes. Joe and Callum did win the Bamford Cup for the best home pairing however. The Baxter Trophy which is for the best 'Non-Congu' handicap home pair was won by Alfie Hocking and Craig Andrews. Congratulations to everyone who took part.
Club Mid-week Stableford
25 competitors entered the Mid-Week Stableford this week, Dave McGovern was the overall winner with 41 points. This was good enough for a one shot victory over Tim Reynolds who scored 40 points, Gary Villis was third on 39 points.
