May Medal & Bunny Cup
Chris Hicks shot a magnificent nett 66 to win his division and post the lowest nett score of the day. Chris' score could of been even lower considering the triple bogey six he made on the third hole. Myles Angell produced the lowest gross score of the day with an improessive round of 69 (three under par). The Bunny Cup which is for players with a handicap of 21-28 was won by Richard Tempany who's nett 67 saw him six shots clear of his nearest competitor.

The event was played as a modified bowmaker with one score to count on the first, two scores to count on the second, three on the third etc. The winning team was made up of David and Hilda Shields along side Steve and Tracy Buckland. They amassed 101 points to beat the Captain's team by a single point who themselves were one point clear of the third place team. Roger's Cup
The ladies played the first round of the Roger's Cup on Thursday. This was played at Stockwood Vale against Lansdown. The ladies put up a good fight but unfortunately lost 3 & 4. The first three players out were Carol Kirkwood, Merriel Horler and Rosemary Fife who all lost. The fourth and fifth players Sally Anderson and Marian Crewe both won. Sandy Hill was player six and she was all square on the 18th and eventually won on the 21st. Sarah Martin was out seventh and was all square coming up the 18th but unfortunately lost on the 18th. Well done to all the team for a gallant display against last year's winners.
Centenary Plate
Clevedon ladies were involved in the first round of the Centenary Plate. This is a knock out foursomes competition run by Somerset Ladies Golf Association. The game was played at Wheathill and was against Lansdown, but unfortunately the pairing of Ruth Stele and Elaine Morgan lost in very challenging weather conditions.
The Seniors continued their good start to the Inter-Club season with a hard fought draw away at Stockwood Vale where the squally weather made things very tricky. They complemented this with a good win against Mendip Spring back in the sun at Clevedon.
