September Medal We now know what Billy Blackall has been doing this summer, playing golf! Already playing off a much reduced handicap of 17, Billy romped to victory overall with a gross 80, nett 63. This earned him a cut to 14 but an 'exceptional scoring' sees his weekend finish with his handicap sitting at 12. Well played Billy, Grandads Dave Blackall and Richard Hickling will be proud. Second place overall goes to another youngster, Callum Walker, who earned a two shot cut and now sees his handicap at 10, which incidentally is now lower than his father Mike Walker. While we're on the subject of our younger players, Alfie Hocking deserves a mention for his nett 68 which sees his handicap now at 17. Other scores are as follows: Division One - First place - Callum Walker (Nett 66), second place - Alan Gladwin (Nett 68) and in third place - Andy McCall (Nett 70).
Division Two - First place - Billy Blackall (Nett 63), second place - Gary Atkinson (Nett 68) and in third place - Alfie Hocking (Nett 68). Division Three - First place - Mark Derrick (Nett 73), second place - Rod Billing (Nett 77) and in third place - Stephen McNulty (Nett 78). The twos sweep paid £24 to those that managed a two (And entered the sweep). |
