Ladies Club Championship 2017
Congratulations to Sarah Martin, the 2017 Ladies Club Champion. In fact well done to all the ladies who battled the wind over the two days of competition. As if the course is not hard enough! Heather Priestley was runner-up with Linda Reynolds taking best nett trophy. Other trophy winners were Lesley Wicking and Elaine Morgan. Elaine even managed to bounce her trophy off the lounge floor... Full results were as follows:
Gross Championship - First place - Sarah Martin, second place - Heather Priestley and in third place - Charlotte Millington.
Nett Championship - First place - Linda Reynolds and in second place - Marian Crewe.
First Round Nett - First place - Lesley Wicking and in second place - Sue Tasker.
Second Round Nett - First place - Elaine Morgan and in second place - Sally Anderson.
Ash's great form continues!
The first West Region PGA Order of Merit event took place at Oake Manor Golf Club last Thursday and Friday. Ash played some tremendous golf shooting -2 on day one and followed it up with second round of -5 to tie for first place. This meant a play-off for the title which he unfortunately lost out to a birdie on the second extra hole.
Great playing nonetheless, keep it going Ash.
