Captain's Bank Holiday Mixed Bowmaker
A big turnout on Monday for the Captain's Bank Holiday Mixed Bowmaker. Pictured with Captain David McGovern were Lesley Wicking, Tracy Buckland and Steve Buckland. It was great to see a number of new faces taking part in what is always a popular event here at Clevedon Golf Club. Winners on countback were Lesley Beer, Tim Beer, Hilda Shields and David Shields. A special mention to Lesley Beer who only took the game up towards the end of last year and ends up winning her first ever competition.
 
Open Day
This Sunday, along with the golf club, we'll be hosting an Open Day for anyone who is keen to try golf, or even maybe thinking about joining our fantastic club. There will be some coaching out on the practice area with the pro shop team, course tours and even some refreshments. The event will take place from 11:00am until 2:00pm. If there's anyone you know who'd like to give golf a try, just get them to pop along as there's no need to book.

Junior Coaching
 Next Monday, 24 April will see the first of our Junior Club Nights commence, the sessions are open to all and there's no need to book, just pop along! We'll be starting at 6:00pm and going through until around 7:00pm. There's no charge for any Clevedon members and a small charge of just £3 for non-members.
We'll also be talking to parents and grandparents about the launch of our academy sessions which will start from Saturday, 29 April. If you or a child that's keen to get into golf can't make Monday's Club Night, just get in touch with us here.
