Ladies 'Get Into Golf'

We're running some group lessons aimed at any ladies who'd like to try golf or are maybe returning to the game and would like some refresher tips. If there's anyone you know that falls into either of those categories, the dates are listed below and we're taking bookings in store:

• Tuesday, 31 May - 11:30am and 6pm
• Thursday, 9 June - 10:30am and 6pm
• Thursday, 16 June - 10:30am and 6pm

Seniors' George Heming Salver

Division One - First place - Ron Angell (40 points), second place - Alan Stewart (37 points) and in third place - Ian Saynor (37 points).

Division Two - First place - David Brown (36 points), second place - David Wright (36 points) and in third place - Ray Border (36 points).

There were five lucky winners in the twos club and they receive £9.20 each. The winners were Alan Rennell,  Derrick Thomas, Ron Angell, David Brown and Clive Renson. Well done to all of the prize winners.

Club Mid-week Stableford

Division One - First place - James Mitchell (41 points), second place - Rob Doy (38 points) and in third place - Andy Dixey (37 points).

Division Two - First place - David Jenkins (39 points).

Three lucky golfers in Steve Parker, Andy Ferris and Tim Aldom receive £14.80 each for a two and Clive Bourton receives £29.60 owing to the fact he scored a hole-in-one on the third hole.
