Division Three - First place - David Wright (nett 74), second place - Paul Standeven (nett 76) and in third place - Chris Lawton (nett 79).

Tuesday's Mid-Week Medal was played in ideal conditions. Early cloud cover cleared through the day to provide a lovely sunny setting for the event. Andrew McCall produced the best score of the day with a nett 68. The full results were as follows:

The ladies had possibly the best weather day of the year so far for their stableford competition. Sarah Martin produced the best score of the day with an excellent 39 points. She was closely followed by Sandy Hill on 38 points and Merriel Horler and Debbie Quinn-Hall who both scored 36 points.
Ladies 'A' Team
The Ladies 'A' team played their first match of the season recently, away at Shirehampton. I am thrilled to say that they won the match eight points to six. A brilliant start to the season. Thank you to the players, Merriel, Debbie, Sally A, Sarah, Carol K, Rosemary and Marian. Congratulations to all the team!
FootJoy Shoe Fitting Day
Tuesday saw our first FootJoy shoe fitting event of the year. The day was a great success and lots of people were measured professionally by a FootJoy representative. There were one or two people wearing completely the wrong size shoes. One customer has even ordered a different size for each foot! We've learned a lot from the day, so if you'd like your feet measured in a more comprehensive manner pop into the shop and see what we have to offer.
