Ladies Group Coaching
We've been busy planning our initial schedule of Ladies Group Coaching for both team players and those who don't play in a team. The sessions will be one hour long and cost £5 per person and each group will accommodate up to six people. Book here to secure your place.
The dates and times for June and July are below. We will have the option (depending on numbers) to add another session directly after the ones below if the demand is there? I.e. If the 10:00am session is fully booked, we'll run another session directly afterwards at around 11:15am. We'll also be planning more sessions for the rest of the season so keep your eyes peeled.

Mid-week Stableford - Tuesday, 2 May
Division One - First place - Phil Osman (42 points) and in second place - Andrew McCall (41 points).
Division Two - First place - Paul Standeven (32 points) and in second place - Stephen McNulty (30 points).
There was only one two recorded by Peter Hancock and thus he takes the pot of £48.
Ladies Tradesman's Bowl - Round One - Wednesday, 3 May
In the first of this multi-round event there was some very good scoring to carry forwards into the second round. A brief rundown of the results are as follows:
Eve Childs - Nett 71, Sue Bamford - Nett 73, Susie Gibbins - Nett 75, Linda Reynolds - Nett 76, Laureen Angell - Nett 76, Marian Crewe - Nett 77, Heather Priestley - Nett 77, Debbie Quinn-Hall - Nett 77.
May Medal - Saturday, 6 May
Another great scoring day with some of the lowest scores seen this year so far. Scores were as follows:
Division One - First place - Mark Rigby - Nett 68, second place - Paul Faulkner - Nett 68 and in third place - Alan Stevenson - Nett 72.
Divison Two - First place - Steve Thomas - Nett 66, second place - Dennis Godley - Nett 69 and in third place - Sam Charman - Nett 70.
Division Three - First place - Philip Morris - Nett 71, second place - Rod Billing - Nett 73 and in third place - Paul Standeven - Nett 73.
There were seven twos recorded and each player scoring a two receives £38.85 each. Alongside the May Medal which was won overall by Steve Thomas, there were two other events taking place. The Bunny Cup is for players with handicaps from 21 - 28, Philip Morris takes this honour. The May Medal was also the qualifying event for this year's Lombard Trophy Regional Final to be played with myself at Burnham & Berrow Golf Club next month. Paul Faulkner was the leading entrant for this year's event and I look forward to competing with him against all the other qualifiers from the South West Region. Paul is making his second consecutive appearance after being the leading qualifier last year too!
Ladies Roger Cup vs. Cannington
Clevedon ladies beat Cannington ladies 5-2 at Weston-Super-Mare in the first round of the Rogers Cup. This knockout is played in strict handicap order with full difference between the handicaps of players. We received no shots with our ladies having to give between one and 12 shots! Absolutely great result. The team were as follows; Sally Anderson, Heather Priestley, Sarah Martin, Ruth Steele, Marian Crewe, Sue Tasker and Linda Reynolds. The next round will be played at Isle of Wedmore versus Mendip Spring.
Ladies 'B' Team vs. Thornbury
The 'B' Team played Thornbury away on Saturday, 6 May. A couple of games were only lost on the 18th hole, albeit our players were up against a lot lower handicappers, but the star was our 'Anchor Man' Susie Gibbins who won her game ensuring Clevedon left with a 2 - 12 loss. Team players were; Sue Bamford, Marian Crewe, Alison Lee, Pauline Deal, Sue Tasker, Linda Reynolds and Susie Gibbins. Well done ladies, I look forward to seeing how we fare on the return fixture playing on our own course. The next match is at home on Monday ,15 May against Knowle.
