Adult/Junior Open

Sunday saw fine conditions for the Adult/Junior Open. 36 competitors battled it out over a course looking really nice in the autumn sunshine.

Well done to the overall winners, Matt Hocking and Josh Loveridge. The Bamford Cup winners were Mike and Rhys Cunningham.

   

Yellow Watering Can 2016

Sunday also saw the running of the prestigious 'Watering Can' event. Congratulations to Julian Beale as this year's recipient of the magnificent trophy!

Seniors' Arthur Hicks Salver (16 Holes)

Division One - First place - Bob Anderson (36 points), second place - Glyn Ager (33 points) and in third place - Gordon Ogden (33 points).

Division Two - First place - Ian Wyllie (34 points), second place - Brian Smith (33 points) and in third place - Richard Purnell (33 points).

Bob Anderson, Paul Smith and Rob Sweeting all receive £10.33 for scoring a two.

 

Ladies Stableford (16 Holes)

Division One - First place - Marian Crewe (33 points) and in second place - Heather Priestley (33 points).

Division Two - First place - Noreen Conway (30 points) and in second place - Sandra (29 points).

Division Three - First place - Sue Hughes (30 points) and in second place - Vicki Sach (29 points).

There was a bumper payout in the twos sweep with Sarah Martin and June Mills receiving £40 each.
